Itinerary

Day 01 ► Buenos Aires

Reception at Buenos Aires International Airport and transfer with English speaking guide to selected hotel.

Buenos Aires: 3 Night accommodation. Breakfast included.

 

Day 02 ► Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires Premium City Tour (Half day)

Discover Buenos Aires, considered the “Reina del Plata”, starting the tour around Downtown where the most traditional places are located: Plaza de Mayo, Av. 9 de Julio, Colón Theater and the Obelisk “the symbol of Buenos Aires”. We will continue towards the south: San Telmo with its “tanguerías”, La Boca and Caminito. Then to Puerto Madero, the renewed port of the city and trendy gastronomic area.

We will also visit Recoleta, a neighborhood where culture and elegance live together. Then Palermo with its parks and trendy quarters: Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood offering a wide range of bars and restaurants, as well as fashion clothes and decoration shops.

 

Day 03 ► Buenos Aires

Tango Experience

The Argentinean Tango is the most seductive couple dance to this day. Its passionate, melancholic and joyful roots is identifiable Argentinean and ignites the tango excitement. New steps have been invented since the underground days making this Latin dance even more exciting and sensual. Tango once again is living, it is complex like its origins yet simple like an intuition. Something that yearns to be experienced….

INCLUDED: Tango Dinner-Show at El Querandi

Travel to another time and enjoy authentic tango dancers, accompanied by live musicians and singers and a dinner in an intimate and traditional atmosphere.
Located in the historic center of the city, in SanTelmo neighborhood, El Querandí has the best tango dinner show in Buenos Aires. This old house built in1920 and carefully restored in 1992, is characterized for having respected with absolute devotion the atmosphere that it had at the beginning of the last century. Exquisite gastronomic menu with typical Argentine regional dishes and a tango show that shines for its quality and authenticity.

Day 04 ► Buenos Aires – Bariloche

Transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport to embark with destination Bariloche (during the morning)
Arrival to Bariloche airport and transfer with Spanish assistance to the hotel.

PM: Half day Excursion to Small Circuit & Campanario Hill

          • Ascent not included

This circuit is paradisiacal. You will travel a total of 65 km. most of them along the coast of Nahuel Huapi lake. You will find Playa Bonita at Km. 8 and will be able to view Huemul Island. Ten kilometers ahead you reach the foot of Campanario Hill, where a chairlift will take you to the top (optional) and you will be able to see one of the most fascinating sceneries of the region.
Once in the Llao-Llao Peninsula, you can stop and visit San Eduardo Chapel.
Continuing with the itinerary, you pass the bridge that connects Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and further ahead the bridge over Lake Moreno.
Then you will begin to follow the coast of Laguna El Trébol back to the city, closing the Small Circuit.

Day 05 ► Bariloche

Puerto Blest & Cascada de Los Cantaros (full day)

• National fee park is not included due to local regulations that compel passengers to pay on spot

Blest arm is the most important of the seven who owns the Lake Nahuel Huapi. The entrance of this arm is framed by two hills and Millaqueo Chapel and is the Sentinel Island, where lie the remains since 1944 the creator of the National Parks: Dr. Fransisco P. Moreno. After an hour by boat from heading up to Puerto Cántaros. A stepped path leads to three lookouts waterfall bordering the Jar. At the end of the lagoon is the Jar that gives rise to the falls to 852 meters above sea level.

 

Day 06 ► Bariloche – Ushuaia

Day 07 ► Ushuaia

Tierra del Fuego National Park (half day)

At 12 km westwards from Ushuaia it is located the entrance to Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one with a seacoast in our country. A trip around this national park, in addition to the several panoramic views of Beagle Channel framed by the mountains and forest, approaches us to nature.
We follow the road that traces a very thin strip in the mountain foothills; we go past peat bogs, beavers’ dams and finally we arrive in Lapataia River.
After crossing the river, the road becomes winding and full of bushes with some panoramic views like Verde Lagoon.
If the passenger wants to feel like the main character in a short story, we suggest taking the hike along the path that leads to Negra Lagoon or Beavers’ Path to interpret these curious animals’ work. So it starts the last section to Lapataia (National Route 3 end) where the old inhabitants of this area left their legacy: the shelly deposits, some incredible archaeological sites. Before returning to Ushuaia we stop at Roca Lake whose colour changes according to the weather.

OPTIONAL: Train of the End of the World

Years after that the “Prison of the End of the World was built, the “Train of the Prisoners” (as it was popularly known) began to render its service. The little train becomes a fundamental tool for transporting wood, until the prison was closed.
Forty-two years after its last service, in 1994, the train of the end of the world, the “Train of the Prisoners”, takes up its historical journey.
Some very funny carriages from the beginning of last century take us to revive a part of this land history.

In the afternoon:

Beagle Channel navigation with Sea Wolves island (half day)

• Transfers to pier and port taxes included

We will sail, in very comfortable modern ships, around Bridges Islands and the Archipelago and Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, rocky outcrops in the middle of Beagle Channel that go together with the mountain chains that close this magnificent interoceanic passage. We will see colonies of cormorants, albatrosses, petrels, “cauquenes” (Chloephaga), etc. This is an excellent opportunity to watch sea mammals (sea wolves) and birds without disturbing them.
Distance: full circuit 30 km. It departs from and returns to the tourist wharf.
Duration: 2.30 hours

 

Day 08 ► Ushuaia – El Calafate

Transfer to Ushuaia airport to embark with destination El Calafate.
Reception at El Calafate airport and transfer with bilingual speaking guide to selected hotel.

El Calafate: 3 Night accommodation. Breakfast included

 

 

Day 09 ► El Calafate

Full day tour to Glaciers National Park – Perito Moreno Glacier (full day)

This park has been declared as Mankind Heritage by UNESCO. Those glaciers that named it (about 47) show us a 10 thousand-year-old world: cold and wild. The most famous one is Perito Moreno Glacier in the southwestern end of Argentino Lake at 80 km away from El Calafate. This glacier is so-called due to a great Argentinean explorer from last century and is one of the few glaciers that is still moving in the world. That is why it has become one of the most spectacular natural shows in South America.
From time to time its 60-m-high snout releases some ice walls as huge as buildings that fall into Rico Bend or Canal de los Témpanos (Ice floes Channel) and then they continue sailing along the channel to the main area of the lake.

INCLUDED: Nautical Safari

We depart from Bajo de las Sombras Pier at 75 km away from El Calafate. We sail opposite the glacier southern wall at about 500 m away with the possibility of watching the ice slides in the 60-70-m-high glacial wall. Then we return to the pier.

Glaciares Gourmet is a full day journey to one of the most wonderful places in Southern Patagonia. Sailing aboard exclusive Cruise María Turquesa will enjoy the highest standard of comfort and gourmet cuisine, for a truly memorable experience.
Visit Spegazzini Glacier, landing at Las Vacas Station, in the Spegazzini Canal Bay. Here our guides coordinate a trek with a view of the old Settlers’ Station identifying flora and fauna.
Visit the Upsala Canal and navigate to Herminita Peninsula – limit of the navigation zone allowed by National Parks – panoramic view of the Glacier. Navigate to Canal de los Témpanos, visit Perito Moreno Glacier (north side). Return to La Soledad private port.
