Itinerary:

Day 01 ► Lima

Reception at the airport and transfer to selected hotel.

Lima: 1 Night accommodation. Breakfast and taxes included

City Tour Lima Colonial & Modern (half day)

In the afternoon, visit the most important sites of Lima and wrap yourself in its charm and tradition. Visit the impressive historical center and go through the Main Square, The Government Palace, City Hall, The Archbishop’s Palace and the Cathedral. You will visit the most representative Convent in Lima that displays the largest monumental group of Colonial Art found in America, here you will see and explore the architectural set of religious buildings.
Finally, take a tour through the financial and residential San Isidro district and enjoy an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean from Miraflores, the most touristic district of our city. Return to hotel.

 

Day 02 ► Lima – Cusco

During the morning, transfer to Lima Airport.

City Tour & Archaeological Park

In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco city, an interesting journey where you will learn about Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), ancient place of worship to the Sun, God of the Incas, where the convent of Santo Domingo was built, gaze the beauty of Cusco city´s Main Square and admire the most representative sculptures and paintings of Cusco´s Art inside the cathedral.
Touring the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its external walls built with huge stones cut and assembled with stunning precision.

 

Day 03 ► Cusco – Sacred Valley

Visit the Sacred Valley, a picturesque tour where you can see important archaeological remains, landscapes, and village customs. This tour starts with the first stop at Awanacancha Complex, here you can have the chance to feed Andean Camelids such as llamas and alpacas; you will also meet local people who will show their techniques for weaving in their sites. The tour will include the visit of the typical Pisaq Market where you can have the chance to shop or buy handicrafts and try the traditional costumes. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, made up by series of overlapped steps and terraces, built to protect the city from any invasion coming from the jungle through this part of the valley. You’ll have the opportunity to walk the narrow streets of the village and get a first-hand feeling of this military, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 04 ► Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences of the world: touring Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, go through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive at the Aguas Calientes town; here you´ll take the bus for a 30-minute drive along a zigzagging path leading to the marvelous citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, first Inca emperor and is now one of the New 7 Wonders of the modern world. Walk through go passageways and alleys of the citadel, witness the architectonic greatness of the Inca Empire and Enjoy this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystical energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take your train back to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 05 ► Cusco – Lima – Rio de Janeiro

Transfer to Cusco Airport to embark with destination Lima. Connection to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 06 ► Rio de Janeiro

Full day City Tour (Corcovado & Sugar Loaf)
  • Entrance fees included

Visit to Corcovado. Ascension using the Corcovado train to the foot of Christ the Redeemer. Downhill and then continuing the tour.
Panoramic City Tour through downtown Rio to see the Sambadrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the historic centre, the Municipal Theatre, the National Library and a ride along famous Ipanema & Copacabana Beaches to base of 1300 feet high SUGAR LOAF MOUNTAIN. Ascend by glass cable car to its summit, where you can savor spectacular views of the city.

OPTIONAL: Lunch at a “Churrascaria” (Grilled meat)

       

Day 07 ► Rio de Janeiro

Free day for optional excursions or for enjoying the famous Copacabana and Ipanema’s beaches.

OPTIONAL: Full day Angra dos Reis with Navigation (full day) (Tue to Sat)

The history of Angra dos Reis is full of ships laden with riches, colonial missions and pirate attacks. This region is divided into the districts of Angra, Cunhambebe, Big Island and Mambucaba . The view is unique: water in shades of blue in combination with the green of the Mata Atlantica, makes Angra a ovely setting. Ideal for practicing water sports or for those who prefer to relax and contemplate the nature around. It is possible to see dolphins swimming near the beaches and they invite visitors to swim. In the islands, there are bars, restaurants and shops with local crafts. A navigation by the main islands of the region is required for those wishing to enjoy the beauty of this region.

 

Day 08 ► Rio de Janeiro – Foz do Iguassu

Morning transfer to Rio airport to embark to Foz do Iguassu

Reception at Iguassu Airport and continuing to visit Brazilian waterfalls

 Half day excursion to Brazilian Waterfalls
  •  National Park entrance fee included

The Iguaçu National Park is at 25 kilometers from Foz do Iguaçu city.
It has a 1 kilometer long walkway from which the 275 falls can be seen from a front panoramic view.
Since the majority of the falls are in the Argentinean side, Brazil offers the best panoramic views: general panoramic view, side view of Devil’s Throat, and front view of the four Brazilian falls.

Day 09 ► Foz do Iguassu – Argentine Falls – Foz do Iguassu

Full day excursion to Argentinean Waterfalls

Declared “World Natural Patrimony of the Humanity” by the UNESCO, the Iguazú Falls are a sublime spectacle. They are located within a wild uncultivated setting surrounded by subtropical vegetation. Its 275 falls, some of them with more than 70 metres of height, make up a world of cascades that fall with such a strength that give birth to clouds of little atomized drops, in which the sun light decomposes in spectacular rainbows.

Highlight: the famous Devil’s Throat, one of the most impressive falls due to its size and scenographic effect.

”Lower” walk: this walk makes the waterfalls sight possible. You can have panoramic sights from the “Garganta del Diablo” and from Brazilian waterfalls; and you can have a wonderful approach to the Bossetti waterfalls. This walk takes two hours and has staircases similar to an eight-storey building.
“Superior Walk”: the high footbridges will take you to the fallen line of different rainfalls. This walk takes an hour. It has not staircases, it does not require a big physical effort.
”Garganta del Diablo” (Devil’s Throat): you can get there by the “Cataratas” train, which you must take at the “Garganta del Diablo” Station. There visitors must walk up to big balconies. There you can see the front and the border of the rainfalls. This walk takes nearly two hours and there are not staircases. The last train leaves at 16:30

OPTIONAL: Great Adventure ride

It is an 8 kilometers circuit through the jungle in a 4×4 truck, plus a 6 kilometers motor boat on the Iguazú river rapids, which includes a closing to the Devil’s Throat and San Martin falls. Duration: 1hour aprox.

 

 Please inform your clients that this is a “soaking” experience. It is advisable to bring a change of clothes or enjoy it wearing a bath suite. 

Important: this tour is not available for children under 12 years old, pregnant women, people with osteoporosis, neck and back conditions or surgery, people with heart conditions or surgery, people with COPD or neurological condition or surgery, and any person with any physical, cognitive and/or sensorial disability unable to react in a nautical emergency in rapids of the lower Iguazú river.
